New ownership acquired FarWest in 2018 and wanted to move up market, increase revenues and improve EBITDA. The infrastructure to accomplish these goals did not exist, so they brought in OneAccord to help establish and train their existing personnel.

We also purchased a used automated powder coat system, then redesigned and rebuilt it to increase their capacity.
After completing this training, FarWest produced a pilot line in 1/10th the total cycle time with 40 percent less labor than previous batch methodology, and cut travel by more than 98 percent.
The redesigned powder coat system provided FarWest with a class A batch and system that will give them 25 percent greater capacity than before at less than half the cost of a new system.
These improvements will allow FarWest to greatly increase revenues without significant capital expenditures.
