Tyler Beutel is an investment banker, financial analyst, and United States Marine Corps (USMC) logistics officer serving on our Capital Advisors team which partners with business owners on buy and sell-side deals as a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) advisor. In addition to his military service, Tyler’s background includes work in forensic accounting and business litigation consulting for large companies in multiple sectors including Energy, Utilities, Health Care, Aerospace and Defense, Construction and Engineering, Consumer Goods. This combination of experiences has led Tyler to develop strong capabilities in leading complex business acquisitions and developing creative business solutions.
Tyler is a graduate of Pepperdine University’s 5 Year BS/MBA program. He completed an undergraduate degree in International Business with a minor in Nonprofit Management and has an MBA with a double concentration in Finance and Sustainability. He completed Pepperdine’s Socially, Environmentally, and Ethically Responsible (SEER) certificate program and partook in multiple international programs including a year-long study abroad program in Lausanne, Switzerland; a summer intensive service and study program to Vanua Levu, Fiji; an international business and disputes resolution internship program in Tel Aviv, Israel; and community service trips to Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
Spring of 2021, Tyler relocated to Seattle, WA with his wife, Lindsay, from Los Angeles, CA. Having grown up on the beaches of Orange County, California, he has had to trade in the surf boards for stand-up paddle boards.
