"Growing a business that you started can be very, very challenging. You get used to organic systems that aren't optimal and you can't always see the solution. In the time we worked together, Steve helped me refine the way Portent works, put the structures in place and grow Portent by leaps and bounds. His operational and financial expertise, plus his understanding of business development and growth, make him invaluable to any organization."
—Ian Lurie, executive VP of Portent, a Clearlink company (former owner & CEO of Portent Interactive)
"As chairman, the Pinnion Board of Directors and I brought in Steve as the business floundered and was searching for leadership. He was exactly what we needed. He has a unique aptitude, experience and attitude to clarify and communicate business realities, while strategizing and implementing growth opportunities for media and technology companies and teams. Steve is a hands-on professional with a high EQ [emotional quotient], integrity and great passion to change the status quo to support and grow people and organizations."
—Steve Vincent, chairman of the board at Pinnion
